Provides legal information and guidance to parents and grandparents so that they can represent themselves in New York City Family Courts and secure access to community resources to support their families.
Offers resources and peer support for parents impacted by involvement with New York City’s Children’s Service. Rise’s goals include preventing unnecessary involvement with the child welfare system, reform of child welfare policy and practice, and mobilizing communities for justice.
