Join Law for Black Lives, Black Families Love + Unite, and Movement for Family Power for a conversation between lawyers, scholars, and organizers about reparations for families impacted by family policing. The panel will feature CFR Executive Director Tehra Coles and CFR Family Advocate Imani Worthy as moderators.
Attendees of this webinar will gain an understanding of the family policing system as a carceral system that demonizes, punishes, and separates marginalized families rather than supports them. Attendees can also expect to hear from family policing system abolitionists approaching this work through the radical lenses of reproductive justice, prison-industrial-complex abolition, and anti-ableism.
