CFR’s 2025 Benefit: Rooted in Justice–Fighting for Families

The Center for Family Representation’s (CFR) 2025 Benefit was held on Tuesday, September 16 at Prince George Ballroom in New York City.

Our benefit took on a new, innovative format, reflecting our expanding services to more communities across the city. The evening began at 5:30 PM with an exclusive VIP reception for our closest supporters and sponsors, followed by buffet dinner and a powerful program.

This year, we were proud to honor Julissa Reynoso (Justice in Action Honoree) and Carolyn A. Kubitschek and David J. Lansner (Pro Bono Partner Honorees), who have spent their lives advancing justice at home and abroad. Learn more about these extraordinary individuals.

We were also proud to honor former CFR client Aminullah Hussain with the Sabra Jackson Client Award and highlight visual art and poetry by people impacted by the family policing system. To view our program and the art featured throughout the benefit, please download our e-journal.

CFR was thrilled to celebrate the individuals and organizations—like you—who partner with CFR to empower parents, protect youth, and strengthen families.

If you haven’t yet made a gift, there is still time to help us cross this year’s $400,000 fundraising milestone. Every contribution—no matter the size—is a vital investment in justice, dignity, and stronger futures for families.
