Standing up for low-income New York families facing the courts

CFR Executive Director Tehra Coles was named a 2025 Nonprofit Trailblazer by City & State New York.

“Funding from the New York Bar Foundation enables CFR to provide free legal and social work services to vulnerable families to address issues that disrupt their stable housing and public benefits, impacting their ability to keep their families together.”

In honor of Black History Month, CFR co-authored an op-ed in City Limits with Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, The Bronx Defenders, and Brooklyn Defender Services.
