Black parents in NY need to know their rights

CFR and other leading public defender organizations wrote a joint op-ed for Black History Month about the importance of Black parents knowing their rights. Here is a quote from the article:

“Family Miranda is a vital step to reducing the harm that families experience during ACS investigations and curbing the white supremacist practice of family separation that has historically been used as a tool of racialized violence.”
