Center for Family Representation opens Staten Island office with 80%+ success rate

CFR’s Staten Island office ribbon cutting event was covered by the Staten Island Advance.
“Prior to CFR’s arrival on the borough, I saw so many loving parents who were from underserved communities who just didn’t have the resources that they needed, be totally railroaded by the system and dehumanized,” said CFR’s Director of Social Work Kelsey Boston. “When ACS brings a family to court and wants to remove children from their parents, the parents are entitled to an emergency hearing. In Staten Island, the CFR team maintains an 80%+ success rate in winning those emergency hearings when our clients request them or settling them favorably, preventing those children from entering foster care and keeping families together.”
