On Wednesday, June 10th, we were honored to celebrate alongside so many fearless advocates and generous sponsors at CFR’s 24th Annual Benefit: Justice Without Barriers–An Evening in Support of Family Defense.

We are especially grateful to Angela Olivia Burton, Esq. our Champion for Family Justice Honoree, and Ms. Natarsha Henry, a former CFR client and our Sabra Jackson Client Award Honoree.

Angela Olivia Burton, Esq. is a community lawyer, scholar, and public servant with over thirty years of experience advocating for the rights of parents and children in the family policing system. Led by the experience, wisdom, and priorities of people directly impacted, Angela fights tirelessly to protect the human, constitutional, and civil rights of families targeted by the system, and advocates for policies that shrink the reach of family policing and support family wellbeing.
