CFR’s 2026 Benefit: Justice Without Barriers–An Evening in Support of Family Defense

Date: June 10, 2026

Time: 5:30 PM

Location: The Edison Ballroom (240 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036)

Please join us on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 for the Center for Family Representation’s (CFR) 24th Annual Benefit at Edison Ballroom in New York City.

CFR’s Annual Benefit is our most significant annual fundraising event, providing the critical funds and awareness we rely on to advance our unique, holistic model with the mission of keeping families together.

Julissa Reynoso, our 2025 keynote honoree, with her table of guests.

In the face of growing challenges and uncertainty, CFR’s mission has never been more critical. The families we serve—low-income Black and Brown parents and youth, immigrants, and those navigating systemic barriers—are disproportionately at risk of separation and instability.

Introducing CFR’s 2026 Annual Benefit “Champion for Family Justice” Honoree — Angela Burton

Angela Olivia Burton is a community lawyer, scholar, and public servant with over thirty years of experience advocating for the rights of parents and children in the family policing system. Led by the experience, wisdom, and priorities of people directly impacted, Angela fights tirelessly to protect the human, constitutional, and civil rights of families targeted by the system, and advocates for policies that shrink the reach of family policing and support family wellbeing.
