CFR’s 2025 Annual Benefit: Honoring Legal Leaders Fighting for Justice
Join the Center for Family Representation (CFR) as we recognize the bold advocates shaping a more just future for families.
As we look ahead to CFR’s Annual Benefit, Rooted in Justice – Fighting for Families, on September 16, 2025 at the Prince George Ballroom in NYC, we are proud to introduce our extraordinary honorees who have spent their lives advancing justice at home and abroad:
Julissa Reynoso
Partner, Winston & Strawn LLP
2025 Justice In Action Honoree
Julissa Reynoso is a celebrated attorney, diplomat, and public servant who has championed justice and equity on the global stage. As a former U.S. Ambassador and Chief of Staff to the First Lady, Julissa has led groundbreaking initiatives to advance human rights, gender equity, and democratic governance. Now a partner at Winston & Strawn, she advises clients on complex legal issues across borders. Her career reflects the values at the heart of CFR’s mission—ensuring fairness, dignity, and protection for the most vulnerable.
Carolyn A. Kubitschek & David J. Lansner
Founding Partners, Lansner & Kubitschek LLP
2025 Pro Bono Partner Honorees
Carolyn Kubitschek and David Lansner have spent decades fighting for the rights of families facing unjust separation, state overreach, and systemic inequality. Through their firm, Lansner & Kubitschek, they’ve led landmark legal victories that have transformed child welfare law and safeguarded due process for parents, children, and survivors of domestic violence. Their work has laid the foundation for advocacy models like CFR’s—grounded in legal excellence, compassion, and a deep belief in keeping families together.
We hope you’ll be there to celebrate these extraordinary change-makers on September 16, 2025 and support our shared mission of keeping families together. If you’re unable to attend, please consider making a donation of any amount or placing an ad in the official Benefit E-journal.
