Join Law for Black Lives, Black Families Love + Unite, and Movement for Family Power for a conversation between lawyers, scholars, and organizers about reparations for families impacted by family policing. The panel will feature CFR Executive Director Tehra Coles and CFR Family Advocate Imani Worthy as moderators.

Panelists will discuss the impact of the Dobbs decision through the lens of the family regulatory system and how the decision will likely further burden and have a negative impact on families at risk of surveillance by the family regulatory and other systems. Beginning on June 1, 2023, the Office for Justice Initiatives’ Child Welfare Court Improvement Project will host a two-part virtual series designed to provide information on protecting family integrity and unity. Christine Bruno, CFR Litigation and Training Supervisor, will serve on one of the panels.
